<br />ITB 24-06-02 CITYWIDE LANDSCAPING SERVICES 31 <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br /> An inspection system that is tailored to the different Tasks and Sites covered under the <br />Performance Standards and Technical Specifications; <br /> A system for identifying and correcting deficiencies in the quality of the Work before the <br />level of performance becomes unacceptable and/or the Project Manager(s) or <br />Consultant independently identify the deficiencies; <br /> A system to ensure that the Contractor’s employees are notified of deficiencies, that the <br />noted deficiencies are corrected (if possible), and that the employees are <br />counseled/retrained as necessary to ensure that deficiencies do not recur; <br /> The city intends to work in conjunction with the awarded bidder to implement an <br />electronic system of reporting that includes the monthly reports referenced in section <br />2.18.1 and reports specified further into this invitation to bid. <br /> A schedule of quarterly walkthroughs of project sites with City’s Project Manager / <br />Consultant and the Contractor’s ISA Certified Arborist and system of reporting the <br />findings to include video recording of walkthroughs. <br /> A system that provides the Project Manager(s) access to all Contractor documentation, <br />reports, and files (to include any forms on which quality control inspections are <br />documented) with respect to Contractor quality control inspections and any corrective <br />action taken; <br /> If the Contractor has a corporate/home office, how it will provide Contract support, <br />services, and controls; and <br /> The identity of all personnel who will be performing quality control inspections by name <br />and title, and verification that the person who actually performed the Work must not <br />perform quality control inspections. <br /> <br />Where the QCP is returned by the Project Manager for revisions or corrections, the Contractor <br />must resubmit the QCP within seven (7) days of receipt from the Project Manager(s), with <br />requested revisions or corrections. The Contractor must not implement any changes to its <br />approved QCP prior to review and acceptance by the Project Manager(s). <br /> <br />The Contractor must perform quality control inspections by qualified personnel (i.e. personnel <br />knowledgeable of all technical aspects of the Work, which would allow identification/discovery of <br />improperly performed services, and provide documentation of the inspection results to the <br />Project Manager(s) on a monthly basis). The documentation must be signed and dated by the <br />inspector at the time the inspection is completed. All completed inspection reports must be <br />submitted to the Project Manager(s). <br /> <br />2.35 WEEKLY WORK PLAN <br /> <br /> Concurrent with the submission of the Annual Execution Plan (AEP), the Contractor must submit <br />a work plan for the initial two weeks of Work. Subsequently, the Contractor must provide a Work <br />Plan every Thursday to the Project Manager(s), which will reflect the Work to be performed during <br />the next week, broken down by Site(s) and Task, and day(s) of the week the Work will be <br />performed. Weekly work plan to include generalized photos of work areas to document historical <br />general conditions of site. <br /> <br /> <br />
