<br />ITB 24-06-02 CITYWIDE LANDSCAPING SERVICES 65 <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br />SECTION 5 <br />RECURRING MONTHLY RIGHT-OF-WAYS <br /> <br />5.1 BASIC SERVICES (RECURRING MONTHLY) <br /> <br />The basic services listed within this section are services to be conducted on a routine schedule as <br />outlined in the Contractor’s Maintenance and Service Plan and approved by the City. This section is <br />to include the supplying of all necessary personnel, materials, supplies, labor, supervision, <br />equipment, fuel, and other miscellaneous necessities to fully maintain the general condition of the <br />rights-of-way, bus shelter locations, parking lots and government facilities to a superior level that <br />will meet or exceed the Performance Standards and Technical Specifications in accordance with <br />Section 1 and all requirements of the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />This work shall include, but not be limited to, weeding, mowing, turf maintenance, edging, pruning, <br />hedge trimming, raking, sweeping, blowing and vacuuming sidewalks, herbicide applications <br />including preventive and corrective applications, fertilization and pest management services using <br />Integrated Pest Management principles, irrigation system maintenance, repair and adjustments, <br />landscape maintenance, replacing any plants lost due to negligence of the Contractor, seasonal <br />color replacement, daily cleaning of all bus shelter and bench locations, daily removal of all litter <br />including dead animals, shopping cart removal and litter pick up seven days per week. The Bidder <br />will be responsible for the supply and installation of all irrigation materials necessary for a fully <br />operational irrigation system. <br /> <br />The supplying and placing of this section is separate and unique from the Supplemental Services <br />(“On Demand”), also listed in this ITB and the bid price shown for this section will be considered full <br />and total payment for all normal ongoing operations. For any additional payments under this item, <br />or any other, the service must be specifically requested by the City for a unique and specific task. <br /> <br /> 5.1.1 E. RIGHTS-OF-WAY <br /> <br />The Bidder shall conduct “Landscape Maintenance Services” as defined in this ITB to all <br />City Rights-of-Way. All the tasks required in the maintenance of the Rights-of-Way shall <br />be completed in accordance with Section 1, Performance Standards & Technical <br />Specifications. <br /> <br />E1 thru E2 Removal of all litter and debris in the medians on Collins Avenue <br />and all areas within 10’ from back of sidewalk on the west side <br />and 5’ from back of sidewalk on the east side from 195th Street <br />to 156th Street, to include the two landscaped parcels on the west <br />side of Collins Avenue at the eastern end of the William Lehman <br />Causeway, including walk thru at 191st and Collins Avenue, and <br />the north and south sides of Sunny Isles Blvd., including the <br />Business Loop, and including Oceania Park shall be conducted <br />two times per day, 7 days a week. <br />
