<br />ITB 24-06-02 CITYWIDE LANDSCAPING SERVICES 73 <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br />Q1 REPLACE / REPAIR NETTING <br /> <br />Repair or replace any netting or screening at the baseball field in Pelican <br />Community Park and soccer field at Senator Gwen Margolis Park. The repairs are <br />to be made only upon authorization of the City, but the Bidders are responsible for <br />immediately notifying the City of any holes or openings that are found during the <br />daily servicing and inspection of the park. The repairs will be done to industry <br />standards and shall follow the recommendations of the manufacturer. <br /> <br />Q2 GRAFFITI REMOVAL <br /> <br />Cover over or remove, as directed by the City, any graffiti. The Contractor shall <br />advise City for authorization/ pre-pre-approval before commencing graffiti <br />removal. This proposal item is intended to include all work, including any needed <br />repairs required to allow the graffiti to be addressed. All work must begin within <br />one (1) day of being notified by the City, and the work must proceed continuously <br />and expeditiously until the job is completed. The Bidder is responsible for <br />immediately notifying the City of any graffiti found during the regular servicing and <br />inspection of the City. <br /> <br />Q3 BEE, WASP AND HORNET REMOVAL <br /> <br />Proper removal and eradication of bee, wasp and hornet nests by a registered <br />beekeeper or trained Pest Control Operator. <br /> <br />Q4 PREVENTIVE MOSQUITO CONTROL CITYWIDE <br /> <br />This bid item includes fogging the City parks with a motorized cart and /or <br />backpack. Work to be completed overnight in the pre-dawn hours (exact times <br />to be determined by City) in a manner safe to the public. Avoid spraying when <br />residents are active. Contractor is to eliminate mosquito breeding sites by <br />removing standing water. Mosquito control shall be a supplemental service. <br /> <br />Q5 DATE PALM FUNGICIDE TRUNK DRENCH <br /> <br />This bid item includes a top to bottom fungicide trunk drench utilizing T-Storm or <br />Cleary’s 3336 in the event that Thielvopsis paradoxa is identified in close <br />proximity to subject palms. <br /> <br />Q6 DEEPROOT ROOT BARRIER <br /> Model #UB 24-2 <br /> This Bid item is to include the supplying, delivery and placement of DeepRoot <br /> Root barrier (or approved equal) in the locations designated by the City. <br /> <br /> Q7 – Q22 MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS CONTINUED <br /> <br /> (*Please note, the following line items pertain to disaster debris hauling, which will only <br /> be activated upon a notice to proceed after a declared emergency, these line items <br /> intentionally include ROW and Parks as part of the scope) <br /> <br /> <br />
