• Police Department: Six (6) 2024 Ford Explorer Police Vehicles with prisoner cages have been <br />identified to replace the aging 2020 models in the fleet. Bartow Ford has these vehicles in stock <br />and ready to be built. The vendor did express concern for a price increase for 2025 due to market <br />circumstances as well as a lengthy build time from Ford. All Six Fords for PD is a total of <br />$318,457.02. <br />• Code Compliance: Interest has been expressed in purchasing one (1) 2025 Ranger 44, which <br />intends to be versatile for use in various conditions, including flood -prone areas and the beach. <br />This vehicle, is readyfor immediate purchase at $36,556.42. <br />• Cultural & Community Services Department: Interest has been expressed in purchasing two (2) <br />vehicle replacements, one for Pelican Community Park and the other for Gateway Center. These <br />vehicles will be used by staff to run errands (Costco, moving equipment, etc) and to get between <br />facilities within the City.
