This amendment <br />is requesting a not to exceed amount of $270,000 bringing the total not to exceed amount to <br />$1,023,532.16. This NTE amount includes holiday pay for security guards and as -needed security <br />services for holidays, such as Memorial Day and July 4th Weekend. The renewal term is effective July 1, <br />2025 —June 30, 2026. <br />The Police Department offers service to the community 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Due to the <br />physical location of the Police Department there is a need to keep the Government Center lobby <br />accessible to the public during the hours of operation for the Police Department. Additionally, there is a <br />need to screen visitors during hours of operation for other departments. Universal Protection Service <br />d/b/a Allied Universal Security Services will be obligated to provide one (1) unarmed level 2 security <br />officer to be stationed at the City's Government Center Lobby, 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 <br />days, inclusive of all holidays. The security officer assigned to the City will also be responsible for <br />receiving and checking in any visitors to the Government Center, for all floors and departments, <br />including the library, utilizing the City's Visitor Management System. Lastly for visitors to Government <br />Center after the City's normal hours of operation, the assigned security officer shall provide access to <br />any individuals seeking to visit the Police Department. <br />Item Number: 9.1 <br />194 <br />
