Neely, Finance Director. <br />DATE: J u ly 17, 2025 <br />RE: Approval of Budget Amendment BA2425-05 for Fiscal Year 2024-2025 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of this ordinance. <br />REASONS: <br />This budget amendment is necessaryto record the following transactions: <br />a. Transfer $52,053 designated for a city-wide pool vehicle in the Fleet department. This amount <br />was previously reflected in the City Manager's department in budget amendment BA2425-04. <br />b. Allocate $32,973 for three vehicles transferred from the Building Department - one to Code <br />Compliance and two to Parking Compliance. Because these vehicles were originally purchased <br />with restricted funds, their current value must be reimbursed to the Building Department upon <br />transfer. <br />c. Allocate $32,973 to Building Fund revenues for the transfer of three department vehicles - one to <br />Code Compliance and two to Parking Compliance. Please reference item B above. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />• All 3 vehicles were 2017 Ford Escape SE models. <br />• Units 1717 and 1718 were transferred from the Building Department to Parking Compliance, <br />while Unit 1720 was transferred to Code Compliance. <br />• Each vehicle was valued at $10,991 at the time of transfer, based upon its year, make, model and <br />mileage. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Item Number: 8.A <br />
