F * PLO 5 <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />18070 Collins Avenue <br />Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160 <br />(305) 947-0606 City Hall <br />(305) 949-3113 Fax <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners <br />VIA: Stan Morris, City Manager. <br />FROM: Derrick Arias, Chief Information Officer. <br />DATE: August 21, 2025 <br />RE: Approval of an Agreement with Vetted Holdings, LLC, d/b/a Vetted Solutions, <br />Inc., for Maintenance and As -Needed Repairs to City's Security Cameras <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of this resolution. <br />REASONS: <br />This expenditure is to provide maintenance services for multiple technology products for the Police <br />Department for a period of one year. <br />In 2022, through Resolution No. 2022-3322, the Police Department purchased License Plate Reader and <br />CCTV equipment from Millenium Products, Inc. under GSA Contract #GS -07F -0031W. This resolution <br />also included a three-year service agreement for preventive maintenance for the purchased equipment, <br />which was serviced by Vetted Security Solutions- the authorized service provider for Millenium <br />Products. With the initial three-year service term now concluded, the City recommends approving a <br />waiver to continue on-call maintenance services with Vetted Security Solutions. <br />The Service Provider agrees to provide services including but not limited to the repair or replacement of <br />security cameras, license plate readers, and equipment as outlined in the proposal on an as -needed <br />basis. Approval of this waiver is in the City's best interest, as Millenium Products, Inc. has confirmed <br />that Vetted Security Solutions is their sole authorized service provider. Purchasing has confirmed with <br />other procurement government agencies in South Florida that they also have procured Vetted Security <br />Solutions in a similar manner. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />Item Number: 9.13 <br />184 <br />
