/ `� <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2025 - W? <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, <br />FLORIDA, ADOPTING THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH FINAL AD VALOREM TAX <br />MILLAGE LEVY RATE OF 1.7000 MILLS PER ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($1,000.00) <br />OF TAXABLE ASSESSED VALUE WHICH IS 1.55% MORE THAN THE "ROLLED BACK" <br />RATE OF 1.6741 MILLS, FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025/2026; PROVIDING FOR AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Property Appraiser of Miami -Dade County, Florida ("County Property <br />Appraiser"), served upon the City of Sunny Isles Beach a "Certification of 2025 Taxable Value"; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 200.065, F.S., the City of Sunny Isles Beach furnished the <br />County Property Appraiser the proposed millage rate, and the date, time and place at which public <br />hearings will be held to consider the tentative millage rate and tentative budget; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Commission agrees to establish the final ad valorem tax millage levy <br />rate at 1.7000 mills per One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) of taxable assessed value. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY <br />ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Adopt the Final Millage Rate. The final millage rate is hereby adopted as 1.7000 <br />mills per One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) of assessed property value in the City of Sunny Isles <br />Beach. The millage is 1.55% more than the "rolled back" rate of 1.6741 mills, for Fiscal Year <br />2025/2026. <br />Section 2. Effective Date.
