<br /> 19 <br /> <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br /> <br />Section 3 <br />Scope of Services / Technical Specifications <br /> <br />3.1 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />The proposer is to provide for the turnkey execution and operation of a Temporary Winter Village <br />experience at Gateway Park (the “Event Site”); to be open to the general public for a fee. The <br />proposer shall provide, install, insure, operate, maintain, disassemble, and remove all <br />components for the entire period herein, subject to negotiations. <br /> <br />The proposer shall submit complete shop drawings for all equipment and materials to the City <br />prior to fabrication and installation. The Contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, <br />delivery, and storage as needed for the construction and installation of the Activation. The <br />proposer shall submit plans for the design and build of the Activation, which will be subject to the <br />approval and permitting of the Sunny Isles Beach Building Department. The Contractor shall <br />establish event admissions fee with the possibility of revenue sharing with the City. The Winter <br />Village is to be operated from approximately Mid-to Late November 2025 through Early January <br />2026. <br /> <br />Operating hours to end at 9:00 PM on weekdays / 10:00 PM on weekends. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />3.2 STAFF AND EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />It is the responsibility of the interested Firm to make the necessary site visits to determine <br />available space for installation, available utility connections and proposed arrangement for <br />capacity. The successful Firm shall provide new or a City-approved equal equipment. Contractor <br />should include, as part of their proposal, pictures of machines, graphics and designs. The omission <br />of any essential details from these Specifications does not relieve the Contractor from furnishing <br />up to date equipment. The equipment shall conform to all applicable OSHA, State of Florida and <br />Federal safety requirements. All components are to be in accordance with current standards and <br />recommended practices. The engineering, materials and workmanship shall exhibit a high level of <br />quality and appearance consistent with, or exceeding, industry standards. <br /> <br />Contractor shall supply, the following, including but not limited to: <br />• ADA Accommodations <br />• Faux ice skating <br />• Rental skates <br />• Changing area <br />• Skate sharpener <br />• Staff <br />• Lessons <br />• Holiday themed Décor, per Exhibit “C” <br />• Handle Bar Assist <br />• Continuous Skate Rink Maintenance <br /> <br /> <br />
