Winterland <br />VILLAGES <br />Temporary Holiday Themed Exp. RFP No. 25-08-01 <br />Strategically located throughout the village, to immerse <br />its visitors in a winter atmosphere, the little mountain <br />chalets will introduce a very distinctive cuisine of worldwide <br />winter culinary specialties. From the Canadian Poutine; <br />French Crepes; German Bretzels; Belgium Waffles to the <br />Russian Borscht, Winter is coming to Sunny Isles Beach! <br />Engaging the Community from the very early stages of <br />a project –as we do in our Real Estate Developments- <br />provides us with an incredible insight of their needs, <br />wants and aspirations. Albeit time was limited to <br />respond to this RFP, it was primordial for us to go <br />towards some of its leaders (not under the cone of <br />silence) and present our project to them. <br />With the holidays included in the midst of our Sunny <br />Isles Beach Winterland Village, we discussed how we <br />could work with the community to custom events that <br />they would appreciate. We have received very welcoming <br />feedback from the Russian Community who has been <br />very excited and responsive. One of them, Rabbi Alex <br />Kaller of the Chabad Russian Center of S. Florida, <br />mentioned that his congregation is used to making <br />Hanukkah events at Gateway Park and that he would <br />be elated working with us to make this year an even <br />bigger event. <br />We are continuing our outreach with community leaders <br />and will be including the St. Mary Magdalen Church for <br />Christmas events. We will continue working to include <br />all our communities and enable everyone to cheer in <br />Sunny Isles Beach for the Holiday season. <br />13
