RESOLUTION NO. 2025 - '�3 `0 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING BLANKET PURCHASE ORDERS FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br />NECESSARY OFFICE AND OTHER SUPPLIES AND SERVICES FROM VARIOUS <br />VENDORS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 UNDER FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS AND <br />NO CENTS ($50,000.00), ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AUTHORIZING THE <br />CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS <br />RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach ("City") currently purchases necessary office and <br />other supplies and services from various vendors throughout the year; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager is authorized to approve purchases under $50,000.00; and <br />WHEREAS, there is a need for blanket purchase orders where it is not feasible to obtain <br />quotes for procurement of individual items due to the wide array of goods and services that could <br />be needed throughout the year from certain vendors; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City Code Section 62-12, the City Commission may authorize the <br />waiver of competitive bidding procedures, including the blanket purchase orders, where staff has <br />conducted a good faith review of available sources and determined it is in the City's best interest <br />to waive competitive bidding procedures for certain goods and services; and <br />WHEREAS, the City wishes to authorize blanket purchase orders for the purchase of <br />necessary office and other supplies and services from various vendors for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 <br />under Fifty Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($50,000.00), attached hereto as Exhibit "A". <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY <br />ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Approval of Blanket Purchase Orders The City Commission hereby approves <br />blanket purchase orders for the purchase of office and other supplies and services from various <br />vendors for Fiscal Year 2025-2026 under Fifty Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($50,000.00), <br />attached hereto as Exhibit "A". <br />Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br />things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. <br />Section 3. Effective Date.
