Awarded Contractor will be required to maintain Minimum Qualification Requirement “a” and <br />“e” during the term of the Contract and any Contract renewals. <br /> <br />a. The Proposing Bidder shall hold the proper license in the State of Florida to perform the <br />Scope of Work set forth within this solicitation to include being registered as a Certified <br />General Contractor or Marine Specialty contractor with the State of Florida along with <br />registration to conduct business in the State of Florida in all required disciplines. <br />Proposing Bidder must provide a copy of the applicable license(s) with bid response. <br /> <br />b. The Proposing Bidder must have been awarded Prime Contractor and successfully <br />performed three (3) projects of similar or greater size, scope, and complexity to the <br />specifications of the ITB within the last five (5) years, preferably in Florida. <br /> <br />c. The Proposing Bidder shall provide reference letters for no less than three (3) projects <br />in which Contractor served as Prime Contractor for projects similar in size and scope. <br />Please note that the references must be for the same projects in response to MQR “b” <br />above. <br /> <br />d. Provide documentation of Proposing Bidder’s total and single project bonding capacity <br />and the name and current financial rating (A.M. Best) of the surety company utilized by <br />your Firm. Provide documentation of your firm’s total and single project bonding capacity <br />and the name and current financial rating (A.M. Best) of the surety company utilized by <br />your firm. Proposing Bidders shall have a single project bonding capability of at least <br />Three Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) with a surety company with an A.M. Best rating of <br />AA or better. <br /> <br />e. The Proposing Bidder shall provide a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount <br />of the bid will be required with your bid. <br /> <br />2.3 IN-PERSON NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING AND SITE-VISIT <br /> <br />A pre-bid conference will be held on MONDAY, APRIL 1 4, 2025 AT 11:00 AM to discuss the special <br />conditions and specifications included within this solicitation. It is strongly recommended for <br />bidders interested in bidding to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting as a tool to be successful in <br />responding to the City’s project. <br /> <br />Location: City of Sunny Isles Beach, Government Center, 1st Floor Conference Room <br /> <br />2.4 EXAMINATION OF SITE <br /> <br />Each bidder shall visit the site of the proposed work before submitting a bid and shall fully <br />familiarize themselves with conditions relating to construction and labor so that he or she may <br />fully understand the facilities, difficulties, and restrictions attending the execution of work under <br />the Contract. It will be assumed that the Bidder has investigated and is satisfied as to the <br />conditions of work to be performed and materials to be furnished and shall base Bid on their own
