Section 5. Longe, vi Longevity pay shall be provided as follows: employees with ten <br />(10) years of sworn service shall receive one thousand dollars ($1 000)• employees with fifteen (15) <br />years of service shall receive one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500)-, and employees with twenty <br />(20) years of service shall receive two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500). Lon pqy shall <br />be recurring annually, shall not be compounded (e.g., employees do not receive a combined pUment <br />for multiple tiers of service), and shall be issued as a lump -sum payment at the beginning of each <br />fiscal year throughpayroll, subject to applicable taxes. <br />-16- <br />142 <br />
