Vo <br />F <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />18070 Collins Avenue <br />Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160 <br />(305) 947-0606 City Hall <br />(305) 949-3113 Fax <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Honorable Mayor and City Commissioners <br />VIA: Stan Morris, City Manager. <br />FROM: Genesis Cuevas, Procurement Director. <br />DATE: October 16, 2025 <br />RE: First Amendment to the Continuing Services Agreement with Miller Legg and <br />Associates, Inc., for Landscape Architectural <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends approval of this resolution. <br />REASONS: <br />First Amendment Renewal for Landscape Architectural Continuing Services Agreement (CSA) short- <br />listed firms. <br />The City solicited proposals from qualified consultants on June 8,2022 pursuant to the City's Request for <br />Qualifications ("RFQ") No. 22-06-01. Via resolution 2022-3424, the City awarded the RFQ and entered <br />into CSAs with firms to give the City flexibility to select the firm deemed best suited for a particular <br />landscape architectural project. These CSAs were executed pursuant to Fla. Stat. 285.055, known as the <br />"Consultants' Competitive Negotiation Act". <br />This renewal request is for the CSA with Miller Legg and Associates, Inc. for one additional year on an <br />as -needed basis. <br />ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br />Copies of the complete contract, including all exhibits and attachments, are on file with the Office of the <br />City Clerk and are available upon request. <br />FUNDING SOURCE: <br />Various Citywide professional services accounts. <br />ATTACHMENTS: <br />Item Number: 9.J <br />207 <br />
