44�yNNY Is,FJ <br />City of Sunny Isles Beach <br />.r <br />Proclamation <br />O <br />WHEREAS, the International Day of Tolerance, observed annually on November 16th, <br />is a time to reflect on the importance of respect, acceptance, and appreciation of the rich <br />diversity of our world's cultures, forms of expression, and ways of being human; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach ("City'), a community enriched by its diverse <br />population, is committed to promoting tolerance, understanding, and mutual respect <br />among all residents and visitors; and <br />WHEREAS, fostering an inclusive community where every individual is valued <br />regardless of their race, religion, ethnicity, gender, age, or any other status enhances the <br />strength and vibrancy of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, intolerance leads to the most tragic events in human history, and it is <br />crucial to remember the lessons of the past to build a more peaceful and harmonious <br />future; and <br />WHEREAS, the City recognizes the importance of education, dialogue, and cooperation <br />in overcoming intolerance and discrimination; and <br />WHEREAS, the City encourages all its residents, visitors, and stakeholders alike to <br />embrace and celebrate diversity, fostering a culture of tolerance and respect. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, DO I, Larisa Svechin, as Mayor, and on behalf of the City of <br />Sunny Isles Beach, hereby proclaim November 16th, 2023, as "International Day of <br />Tolerance " in the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, DO I, Larisa Svechin, as Mayor, and on behalf of the City of <br />Sunny Isles Beach, hereby proclaim November 16, 2025, as "International Day of <br />Tolerance" in the City of Sunny Isles Beach. <br />Date: November 1. 2025 <br />Mayor Larisa Svechin Commissioner Fabiola Stuyvesant <br />Sponsoring Commissioner <br />
