<br />1.47 Prohibition Against Considering Social, Political or
<br /> Ideological Interests In Government Contracting
<br />
<br />Bidders are hereby notified of the provisions of section 287.05701,
<br />Florida Statutes, as amended, that the City will not request
<br />documentation of or consider a Bidder's social, political, or ideological
<br />interests when determining if the Bidder is a responsible Bidder.
<br />Bidders are further notified that the City's governing body may not
<br />give preference to a Bidder based on the Bidder's social, political, or
<br />ideological interests.

<br />1.48 Human Trafficking
<br />
<br />Pursuant to Section 787.06, Florida Statutes, entitled “Human
<br />Trafficking,” a governmental entity cannot execute, renew, or extend
<br />a contract with a nongovernmental entity that uses coercion for labor
<br />or services, as defined in Section 786.06(2), Florida Statutes.
<br />Contractor must submit an affidavit, signed by an officer or an
<br />authorized representative of the Contractor, under penalty of
<br />perjury, attesting that Contractor does not use coercion for labor or
<br />services as defined in Section 786.06(2), Florida Statutes. Submitting
<br />a false certification shall be deemed a material breach of contract.
<br />
<br />1.49 Antitrust Violator Vendors.
<br />
<br />A person or an affiliate who has been placed on the antitrust
<br />violator vendor list following a conviction or being held civilly
<br />liable for an antitrust violation may not submit a bid, proposal,
<br />or reply on any contract to provide any good or services to a
<br />public entity; may not submit a bid, proposal, or reply on any
<br />contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a
<br />public building or public work; may not submit a bid, proposal,
<br />or reply on leases of real property to a public entity; may not be
<br />awarded or perform work as a Grantee, supplier, subcontractor,
<br />or consultant under a contract with a public entity; and may not
<br />transact new business with a public entity.

<br />1.50 U.S. Steel pursuant to Section 255.0993
<br />
<br />Pursuant to Section 255.0993, Florida Statutes, and subject to the
<br />exclusions set forth therein, any iron or steel product permanently
<br />incorporated in a public works project must be produced in the
<br />United States if the public works project constitutes “an activity paid
<br />for with any state appropriated funds or state funds administered by
<br />a governmental entity which consists of the construction,
<br />maintenance, repair, renovation, remodeling, or improvement of a
<br />building, road, street, sewer, storm drain, water system, site
<br />development, irrigation system, reclamation project, gas or electrical
<br />distribution system, gas or electrical substation, or other facility,
<br />project, or portion thereof owned in whole or in part by any
<br />governmental entity.” To the extent any Work or Services provided
<br />for in this Agreement constitutes a public works project, as defined
<br />in Section 255.0993, Florida Statutes, subject to the exclusions
<br />contained therein, any iron or steel product permanently
<br />incorporated in the Work or Services must be produced in the United
<br />States.
