<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH,
<br />FLORIDA, AWARDING INVITATION TO BID NO. 25-04-01 TO, AND APPROVING
<br />AN AGREEMENT WITH, YC GROUP, LLC, FOR THE BELLA VISTA SEAWALL
<br />REPLACEMENT PROJECT, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE MILLION NINETY-
<br />FOUR THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE DOLLARS AND FIFTY-FOUR CENTS
<br />($1,094,755.54), ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
<br />TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO DO ALL
<br />THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN
<br />EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach is the owner of the property located at 500 Sunny
<br />Isles Boulevard (the "Bella Vista Park"); and
<br />WHEREAS, the City is in need of a contractor to replace approximately 192 linear feet of
<br />seawall along Bella Vista Park (the "Services"); and
<br />WHEREAS, on April 2, 2025, the City issued and advertised Invitation to Bid No. 25-04-01,
<br />titled "Bella Vista Seawall Replacement" (the "Bid"), and received five (5) electronic submissions;
<br />and
<br />WHEREAS, after careful review of all submissions, the City staff determined that YC
<br />Group, LLC. (the "Contractor") presented the most responsible and responsive bid; and
<br />WHEREAS, the Contractor is qualified, willing and able to provide and complete the
<br />desired Services; and
<br />WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to award the Bid to, and approve an Agreement
<br />with, the Contractor to provide the desired Services, in an amount not to exceed One Million
<br />Ninety -Four Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty -Five Dollars and Fifty -Four Cents ($1,094,755.54),
<br />which includes a contingency, if necessary, in an amount not to exceed Ninety -Nine Thousand
<br />Five Hundred Twenty -Three Dollars and Twenty -Three Cents ($99,523.23), attached hereto as
<br />Exhibit "A".
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY
<br />ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
<br />Section 1. Award of Bid and Approval of Agreement. The City Commission hereby awards
<br />the Bid to, and approves Agreement with, the Contractor to provide the desired Services, in an
<br />amount not to exceed One Million Ninety -Four Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty -Five Dollars and
<br />Fifty -Four Cents ($1,094,755.54), which includes a contingency, if necessary, in an amount not to
<br />exceed Ninety -Nine Thousand Five Hundred Twenty -Three Dollars and Twenty -Three Cents
<br />($99,523.23), attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
<br />Section 2. Authorization of Mayor. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said
<br />Agreement.
