RESOLUTION NO. 2026-_tM2-- <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, <br />FLORIDA, APPROVING THE APPLICATION FOR VARIANCE (APPLICATION NO. <br />PZ2025-16) SUBMITTED BY ST. TROPEZ BEACH DEVELOPERS, LLC, TO ALLOW A <br />VARIANCE FROM THE REQUIREMENTS OF §265-56.A.(2) OF THE CITY'S LAND <br />DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS TO PERMIT TWO (2) MONUMENT SIGNS ON A <br />SINGLE PARCEL, AND TO DECREASE THE REQUIRED MONUMENT SIGN SETBACK, <br />FROM 6 FEET TO 3 FEET AND 1 INCH FROM THE RIGHT-OF-WAY, AT THE <br />PROPERTY LOCATED AT 16690 COLLINS AVENUE, SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA; <br />PROVIDING THE CITY MANAGER WITH THE AUTHORITY TO DO ALL THINGS <br />NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; <br />PROVIDING FOR REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE <br />WHEREAS, St. Tropez Beach Developers, LLC (the "Applicant") submitted a zoning <br />variance application, numbered PZ2025-16 (the "Application"), to the City of Sunny Isles Beach, <br />Florida ("City") requesting the following: <br />a. approval of a sign variance to allow two (2) monument signs on a single parcel, where <br />only one (1) is permitted, pursuant to Section §265-63.1 and §265-56.A.(2) of the City of <br />Sunny Isles Beach Land Development Regulations; and <br />b. approval of a sign variance to decrease the monument sign setback from 6' to 3'-1" from <br />the right-of-way, pursuant to Section §265-63.1 and §265-56.A.(5) of the City of Sunny <br />Isles Beach Land Development Regulations; <br />Legal Description: Lot 35 and all of Island 35, Lot 36 and Lot A, of BELLA VISTA <br />SUBDIVISION, SECOND REVISED, according to the plat thereof as <br />recorded in Plat Book 50, Page 76, less that part of Lot A conveyed <br />by Deed dated June 5, 1947, recorded in deed Book 2026, Page 297 <br />for right of way for State Road No. 140 and less that portion of Lot <br />36 and Lot A as described in Condemnation Proceeding Civil Case <br />No. 86-02173, of the Public Records of Miami - Dade County, <br />Florida. <br />Also described as: <br />Lot 35 and all of Island 35, Lot 36 and Tract A, of BELLA VISTA <br />SUBDIVISION, SECOND REVISED, according to the plat thereof as <br />recorded in Plat Book 50, Page 76, less that part of Tract A <br />conveyed by Deed dated June 5, 1947, recorded in deed Book 2026, <br />
