Hines, MMC, City Clerk <br />DATE: 12/18/2014 <br />RE: Historic Preservation Board Appointments <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />It is recommended that the City Commission approve the attached <br />Resolution appointing members to the Historic Preservation Board for <br />a two -year term. <br />REASONS: <br />The City Commission created the Historic Preservation Board to <br />provide for standards and review for the preservation of historical <br />properties within the City. The Historic Preservation Board provides <br />recommendations to the City Commission regarding the designation of <br />historic properties within the boundaries of the City. <br />The Board appointments are two -year terms, and the following <br />members have been appointed as follows: Chairperson Jorge <br />Camaraza; Members: Shari Blank, Loretta de Vries, Maynard Mast, <br />Natalie Minervina, Warren J. Stamm, and Ari Steiger.
