A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach; Florida; Accepting the Results of the General Election Which Was Held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014, Declaring George "Bud" Scholl to be Elected as Mayor; Declaring Isaac Aelion to be Elected as Commissioner, Seat 4; Declaring Jeanette Gatto as Commissioner, Seat 2, Who was Automatically Elected Having No Opponents; Discharging the Canvassing Board for Run-Off Election; Providing for an Effective Date. Action: [City Clerk's Note: The "Official-Results were distributed prior to the meeting.] City Clerk Hines read the title and reported noting that the newly elected officials will be sworn in at the Special City Commission Meeting on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Public Speakers: None Vice Mayor Aelion moved and Commissioner Gatto seconded a motion to approve the resolution. Resolution No. 2014-2331 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. 10B. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida.Authorizing the City Manager to Expend up to 577,100.00 with Bonnie Bennett Creative to Provide Graphic Design Services to the City for Fiscal Year 2014/2015; Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date. Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and Cultural and Community Services Director Susan Simpson reported. Public Speakers: None Commissioner Scholl moved and Vice Mayor Aelion seconded a motion to approve the resolution. Resolution No. 2014-2332 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. 10C. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida,Authorizing the City Manager to Expend up to 587,500.00 with Franklin Dodd Communications to Provide Printing Services for the City in Fiscal Year 2014/2015; Authorizing the City Manager to Do All Things Necessary to Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date. Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and Cultural and Community Services Director Susan Simpson reported. Public Speakers: None Commissioner Gatto moved and Commissioner Levin seconded a motion to approve the resolution. Resolution No. 2014-2333 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor.
