CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS <br /> The meetine was called to order by Mayor Edelcup at 6:30 p.m. with the following officials <br /> present: <br /> Mayor Norman S. Edelcup City Manager Christopher J. Russo <br /> Vice Mayor Isaac Aelion City Attorney Hans Ottinot <br /> Commissioner Jeanette Gatto City Clerk Jane A. Hines, IONIC <br /> Commissioner Jennifer Levin Deputy City Manager Stan Morris <br /> Deputy City Attorney Fernando Amuchasteeui <br /> 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE / INVOCATION <br /> Action: Jack Cohen led the Pledee of Allegiance to the flag, and City Manager Russo gave <br /> the invocation. <br /> Mayor Edelcup gave opening remarks noting that tonight we will make sure that the <br /> transition into the new Commission takes place. He said we appreciate everybody coming <br /> out, it is nice to see a full house to welcome in the new Commission. <br /> 3. RESOLUTIONS <br /> 3A. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Approving <br /> Dana Goldman to Fill the Vacancy for City Commissioner Seat 03; Providine for <br /> Approval by the City Commission; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> Action: City Clerk Hines read the title, and Mayor Edelcup reported that when <br /> Commissioner Scholl left his seat to run for Mayor, we had a vacancy that had to be filled. <br /> Dana Goldman who has been on our City Advisory Committee for the last three(3)years or <br /> so has done such a wonderful job of chairing that Committee that we thought she would <br /> make an excellent addition to the Commission. He nominated Dana Goldman and asked the <br /> Commission for the approval for her to replace Commissioner Scholl in the open seat until <br /> the next regularly scheduled Election for that particular seat [February 17, 2015]. <br /> Public Speakers: None <br /> Vice Mayor Aelion moved and Commissioner Gatto seconded a motion to approve the <br /> resolution. Resolution No. 2014-2344 was adopted by a roll-call vote of 4-0 in favor. <br /> Vote: Commissioner Gatto yes <br /> Commissioner Levin yes <br /> Vice Mayor Aelion yes <br /> Mayor Edelcup yes <br />
