Javon Knight brings a rare combination of federal, state, and municipal policy expertise. As PLG’s Assistant Director of Federal Affairs, Javon leads federal strategy, relationship management, and advocacy execution for key clients across the country—with particular experience doing so on behalf of Florida municipalities. Previously, Javon served in the U.S. House of Representatives as a Legislative Assistant and Congressional Black Caucus Foundation Fellow, managing a legislative portfolio that included transportation, economic development, criminal justice, public safety, and education. He later served as a federal lobbyist at Husch Blackwell Strategies, where he represented a range of clients including several Florida municipalities, spearheading their local government priorities from Washington, D.C.
