Kimsey»> Horn Traffic Impact Analysis <br />MULTIMODAL EVALUATION <br />A multimodal evaluation was prepared to identify existing roadway characteristics along with <br />existing transit, bicycle, and pedestrian amenities located within the vicinity of the project. <br />EXISTING ROADWAY CHARACTERISTICS <br />SR 856/William Lehman Causeway and SR A1A/Collins Avenue lie in proximity to the project site. <br />SR 856/William Lehman Causeway is a six -lane, divided, two-way limited access roadway <br />maintained by FDOT. At its intersection with SR A1A/Collins Avenue, there are exclusive left -turn <br />lanes and channelized right -turn lanes. Eight (8)-foot bike lanes are provided on the north and <br />south sides of this roadway adjacent to the project site. The travel lanes are 12 feet wide, and the <br />posted speed limit is 55 MPH. <br />SR A1A/Collins Avenue is a six -lane, divided, two-way roadway maintained by FDOT with exclusive <br />left -turn lanes and channelized right -turn lanes at its intersection with SR 856/William Lehman <br />Causeway. An eight (8)-foot sidewalk is provided on the east side of SR A1A/Collins Avenue and a <br />10-foot sidewalk is provided on the west side of SR A1A/Collins Avenue. Five (5)-foot bike lanes <br />are provided on the west side and a shared lane is provided on the east side of this roadway <br />adjacent to the project site. The travel lanes are 10 feet wide, and the posted speed limit is <br />35 MPH. <br />TRANSIT <br />Broward County provides bus service within the vicinity of the site via BCT Route 28. Bus stops are <br />located at the following locations in the vicinity (within % mile) of the project. <br />• Along the east and west side of SR A1A/Collins Avenue, north of SR 856/William <br />Lehman Causeway <br />• Along the east side of SR A1A/Collins Avenue, south of Terracina Avenue <br />Miami -Dade County provides bus service within the vicinity of the site via DTPW Route 100.
