Collins Avenue presents an opportunity <br />to incorporate a linear park style design <br />with varied hardscape and landscape <br />features, and shade producing <br />elements. Importantly, pedestrians <br />should be buffered from adjacent <br />trafficways. Collins Avenue extends the <br />full length of Town Center North and is <br />the face of the district. Added design <br />emphasis is appropriate. <br />re <br />Interior pocket parks and plaza spaces <br />should be interspersed throughout <br />Town Center North. These spaces <br />should provide shade, seating, and <br />opportunities to gather and dine. <br />Existing residential areas should provide <br />private open spaces for the benefit of <br />residents. Rooftops provide a unique <br />opportunity to incorporate additional, <br />similar spaces. <br />renderina for conceptual TCN <br />Flexible open spaces should provide <br />opportunities for users of all ages. <br />Programmed and non -programmed <br />spaces should be incorporated to <br />allow for special events and change in <br />use.
