FY25-26 <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff presents this item for Commission approval. <br />REASONS: <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach Public Works Department is requesting approval to purchase 14 Pre - <br />Fabricated Transit Bus Shelters from Tolar Manufacturing, in an Amount Not to Exceed $129,140. <br />Tolar Sierra Series Model 6549-01 Transit Shelter is a sole source product, manufactured, sold, and <br />distributed exclusively by Tolar Manufacturing Company, Inc. Tolar Manufacturing Company is <br />identified as the sole source provider for these products, with no dealers or authorized resellers <br />available. <br />The City has been purchasing Tolar Model 6549-01 13'Sierra Transit model since 2019. <br />Specifications: Tolar Model 6549-01-13' Sierra non -advertising transit shelter featuring: low dome roof <br />design with bronze tint twinwall polycarbonate roof panels secured by gasketed pressure ribs; roof ends <br />enclosed with bronze tint acrylic panels; 3/8" clear tempered safety glass panels in rear and both end <br />walls; internally telescoping adjustable leveling shoes for installation on suitable concrete pad; no <br />electrical; no lighting; no seating; finished in Super Durable TCI baked powder coat finish color RAL 9017 <br />Traffic Black; zinc anchors and all installation. <br />Item Number: 9.F <br />313 <br />
