A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Declaring <br /> Jeanette Gatto as Vice Mayor; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> Action: Mayor Scholl thanked Vice Mayor Aelion for serving as Vice Mayor for the last <br /> couple of years. He said he wants to go back to the tradition of rotating the Vice Mayor from <br /> time to time. He nominated Commissioner Jeanette Gatto to serve as Vice Mayor. <br /> Public Speakers: None <br /> Vice Mayor Aelion moved and Commissioner Levin seconded a motion to approve the <br /> resolution. Resolution No. 2014-2362 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> 10B. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida,Approving <br /> Appointments to the City Advisory Committee for Calendar Year 2015;Providing for an <br /> Effective Date. <br /> Action: Deputy City Clerk Mauricio Betancur reported noting that three(3)new members <br /> have been appointed to the Committee. The members of the Committee are: Chairperson <br /> Jeniffer Viscarra;Members: Michael Ducote,Howard Gordon,Gregory Korchmar,Bernard <br /> S. Meyer, Suzanne Spiliotis, and Marianna Talalaevsky. <br /> Public Speakers: None <br /> Vice Mayor Aelion moved and Commissioner Gatto seconded a motion to approve the <br /> resolution. Resolution No. 2014-2363 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> 10C. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach,Florida,Approving <br /> Appointments to the Historic Preservation Board for Calendar Years 2015 and 2016; <br /> Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> Action: City Clerk Hines read the title and reported. The members of the Board are: <br /> Chairperson Jorge Camaraza; Members: Shari Blank, Loretta de Vries, Maynard Mast, <br /> Natalie Minervina, Warren J. Stamm,and Ari Steiger. Mayor Scholl noted his house is the <br /> historic residence in the City, and so he has been heavily governed for many years. <br /> Public Speakers: None <br /> Vice Mayor Aelion moved and Commissioner Levin seconded a motion to approve the <br /> resolution.
