All deductibles must be declared by the Firm and must be <br />approved by the City. At the option of the City, either the Contractor shall eliminate or <br />reduce such deductible or the Contractor shall procure a Bond, in a form satisfactory to <br />the City, covering the same. <br /> <br />NOTE: THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, CONTRACT NUMBER AND TITLE MUST APPEAR ON <br />EACH CERTIFICATE OF INSURANCE. THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH MUST BE SHOWN AS AN <br />ADDITIONAL INSURED WITH RESPECT TO THIS COVERAGE. <br /> <br />2.11 MULTIPLE AWARD <br /> <br />Although the intent is to only award to one Proposer, the City reserves the right to award multiple <br />Proposers (primary and secondary) as available, by line item, by group, or in its entirety, as <br />deemed the best interest of the City. The City will endeavor to utilize Contractors in order of <br />award. <br /> <br />However, the City may utilize other proposals in the event that: 1) the Contractor is unable to be <br />in compliance with any contract or delivery requirement; 2) it is in the best interest of the City to <br />do so regardless of reason. <br /> <br />2.12 CLEAN-UP <br /> <br />The Contractor shall properly dispose, at its own cost, of any waste resulting from the work being <br />performed in an approved facility at an approved site unless otherwise specified in this document. <br />It is the Proposer(s) responsibility to become familiar with the existing conditions of all the City <br />areas that are included in this RFP, to determine the type of equipment necessary to successfully <br />provide the specified services. <br /> <br />2.13 DAMAGE TO PUBLIC OR PRIVATE PROPERTY <br /> <br />If property (public or private) is damaged while contractor is performing work specified or is <br />removed for the convenience of the work, it shall be repaired or replaced at the expense of the <br />Contractor in a manner acceptable to the City prior to the final acceptance of the work. Contractor <br />will be responsible for applying and securing any permits that may be required to complete such <br />repairs. Such property shall include but not be limited to: existing facilities and all of its <br />components, site amenities, concrete and/or asphalt surfaces, vehicles, pole structures, <br />sidewalks, curbs and gutters, driveways, utilities, etc. If the work site has any pre-existing damage, <br />the Contractor shall notify the Project Manager in writing. Failure to do so shall obligate the <br />contractor to make repairs per the above section. Contractor must provide protection necessary <br />to prevent damage to property being repaired or replaced. <br /> <br />2.14 COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL STANDARDS <br /> <br />All items to be purchased under this contract shall be in accordance with all governmental <br />standards, to include, but not be limited to, those issued by the Occupational Safety and Health
