<br />20 <br />RFP 26-04-01 CITYWIDE HOLIDAY LIGHTING & DECORATING SERVICES <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />18070 Collins Ave. | Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160 <br />305.792.1707 | sibfl.net | Purchasing@sibfl.net <br /> <br />Section 3 <br />Scope of Services / Technical Specifications <br /> <br />3.1 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />Proposals will be considered only from Proposers which are regularly engaged in such business as <br />described in this package. The Proposer shall have a lighting crew trained and experienced in <br />maintaining and restoring the holiday lighting systems, including LED lights sets. Additionally, <br />Proposer shall maintain a 24-hour per day, 7 day per week primary and secondary point of contact <br />during the Holiday Lighting Season, to which outages and other problems can be reported. <br /> <br />Additional requirements include but is not limited to: <br />• The awarded Contractor shall respond within eight hours by being on site at the <br />designated area upon notification by the City or its designated representative of a request <br />to address a reported problem. Proposer shall ensure that all City holiday lights and <br />decorations are functioning by 5:00 p.m. each day during the Holiday Lighting Season. <br />• Ongoing maintenance and repair of rented lights and decorations throughout the holiday <br />season at no additional cost to the City. This includes the replacement of any lights or <br />decorations that are defective or damaged, ensuring that all installations remain fully <br />operational. <br />• The awarded Contractor shall provide regular inspections by the Contractor to ensure <br />that all rented lights and decorations are functioning correctly throughout the holiday <br />season. <br />• Multiple power sources are available at each location. The Vendor shall route all power <br />and electrical cabling in a neat, orderly, and safe manner, using outdoor-rated extension <br />cords for all decorative elements. All cords and cable connections shall be properly <br />secured, concealed where practicable, and maintained so as to prevent tripping hazards, <br />damage, and exposure to weather or other unsafe conditions. <br />• The awarded Contractor shall supply all lifts and other materials necessary to safely and <br />successfully install, maintain and remove lights and decorations. <br /> <br />Design Timeline: <br />A detailed project implementation plan shall be provided to City staff by July 1 of each contract <br />year. <br />Timeline for Installation: <br />Dates may change, due to weather or other circumstances, nonetheless proposer will not be <br />considered if not available to meet needs for the dates below: <br />• A walk-thru by the City in August to ensure all power and outlets are fully functioning, <br />followed by a full report by Contractor in writing of any deficiencies and a scheduled <br />follow-up walk through of any that were found to be insufficient, no later than <br />September 15, 2026. <br />• All street pole décor, right-of-way décor and all tree wrapping, both on street and in
