2.4.1 OPTIONS TO RENEW —SUBJECT TO NEGOTATIONS <br />Prior to, or upon completion, of the initial one (1) year term, the City shall have the option, at its <br />sole discretion to renew the contract for four (4) additional one-year renewals. The Awarded <br />Firm agrees not to assign or transfer the contract, or any portion thereof, without written <br />approval of the City. <br />2.5 METHOD OF AWARD <br />In a publicly noticed meeting, the City's Evaluation Committee will evaluate proposals and will <br />select the Proposer which meets the best interests of the City. After evaluation, the award <br />recommendation must be presented to the City Commission for final approval. Award will be <br />made to the responsible Proposer whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to <br />the City, taking into consideration total cost and all other evaluation factors set forth in the <br />Request for Proposals. <br />The City reserves the right to reject all proposals, to waive non -material, technical variances, or <br />infirmities in the proposal, to abandon the project or to solicit and re -advertise for other <br />proposals. The City may in its discretion waive any informalities and irregularities contained in a <br />proposal or in the manner of its submittal and award a contract thereafter. <br />See section 4 of this solicitation. <br />2.6 COMPENSATION / INVOICING <br />The Awarded Firm shall deliver an invoice to City on a monthly basis detailing services completed <br />and the amount due to Awarded Firm under the Contract. The City shall pay the Awarded Firm in <br />accordance with the Florida Prompt Payment Act after approval and acceptance of the Services <br />by the City Manager. <br />The awarded firm shall submit invoice for review and processing to: AccountsPayable@sibfl.net. <br />2.7 DELIVERY <br />Not Applicable. <br />2.8 BACKGROUND CHECKS — LEVEL 2 <br />Intentionally omitted. <br />2.9 INSURANCE <br />Upon City's notification, the Awarded Firm shall furnish to the City Manager or his designee, <br />Certificates of Insurance that indicate that insurance coverage has been obtained, which meet the <br />requirements as outlined below: <br />
