F <br />FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />du "' THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH: AND <br />UNIVERSAL PROTECTION SERVICE, LLC <br />D/ B/ A ALLIED UNIVERSAL SECURITY SERVICES <br />CONTRACT NO.2021-7700 <br />This First Amendment to the Agreement between the CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH <br />('City") and UNIVERSAL PROTECTION SERVICE LLC D/ B/ A ALLIED UNIVERSAL <br />SECURITY SERVICES ("Contractor"} executed this pday of LJ� +r , 2022, is <br />made a part of the original Agreement approved by the City Commission on September 14, 2Q21 ("the <br />Agreement'), attached hereto as Attachment "A", between the City and Contractor, whose Federal <br />Identification Number is 65-0472$Q4. The City and Contractor hereby agree as follows: <br />1. DATE OF AGREEMENT. The date of the original Agreement shall be the date upon which <br />the City Commission approved the same: September 14, 2021. <br />2, AMENDING TERM. Upon full execution ofthis First Amendment, Section 4 of the original <br />Agreement, titled "Term" shall be deleted in its entirety and substituted with the following language: <br />4. TERM. Subject to the provisions relating to the termination of this Agreement <br />as set forth hereunder, the initial term of this Agreement shall be for a period of <br />two (2) years, commencing on July 1, 2022. The City shall have the sole option <br />to renew the Agreement for three (3) one- year renewal terms. <br />The terms of Sections 16 and 17 entitled "Indemnification and Waiver of <br />Liability," and Compliance with Law," respectively, shall survive termination <br />of this Agreement. <br />3. OTHER PROVISIONS REMAIN IN EFFECT. Except as specifically modified herein, all <br />terms and conditions of the original Agreement between the parties dated September 14, 2021, shall <br />remain in full force and effect. <br />4. CONFLICTING PROVISIONS.
