<br />interagency coordination. Transit Planning services including transit feasibility studies and
<br />service planning, route planning, stop placement, and service optimization, first/last mile
<br />connectivity solutions, shuttle and circulator system planning, transit amenities planning
<br />(shelters, accessibility improvements), ridership analysis and forecasting, integration of
<br />transit with land use and development patterns, evaluation of emerging mobility options
<br />(microtransit, on-demand services), and transit funding strategies and grant support.

<br />8. CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING AND INSPECTION (CEI) SERVICES
<br />
<br />• Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services to include contract administration,
<br />inspection, and materials sampling and testing.
<br />• The Consultant must employ at least one professional engineer, registered with the Florida
<br />State Board of Professional Engineers, having training and experience in the area of
<br />Construction Engineering Inspection.
<br />• Cost estimates for work must be provided.
<br />• Inspection Of Construction Projects Including but not limited to Structural, Building,
<br />Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, Roofing in Accordance with the requirements of
<br />the applicable Building Codes. with State Law.

<br />The Consultant(s) may be required to represent the City in matters involving or relating to other
<br />governmental entities at the local, regional, state or national level, pertaining to the
<br />County/State/Federal for any improvement programs, permits or grants in which the City is or
<br />may be an eligible participant or has an interest. Some of the projects requiring professional
<br />engineering and planning services may be funded through federal and state granting authorities.
<br />All federal and state regulations pertaining to any grant related project shall apply.
<br />
<br />Professional grant writing
<br />
<br />Professional grant writing consultant services encompass the development, preparation, and
<br />writing of grant proposals to secure funding from government entities, foundations, and other
<br />funding organizations. Services may include research and identification of grant opportunities,
<br />strategic planning for funding acquisition, preparation of narratives and budgets, submission of
<br />proposals, and assistance with grant administration and reporting requirements.

<br />Construction/Project Management/Administration
<br />
<br />All Consultants may be responsible for providing contract/construction administration/grant
<br />management services to assist City of Sunny Isles Beach staff with the administration and
<br />management of construction contracts and City procedures for successful completion of various
<br />capital projects including, but not limited to, buildings, parks facilities, roadways, bridges,
<br />waterways, transportation and traffic engineering projects, and other City projects as needed.
<br />Professional construction/project management services include, but not limited to pre-
<br />construction services, cost estimating, plan review and comments, constructability input on the
<br />design of a project, construction administration services during the bidding, scheduling,
