SCHEDULE OF UNDERSTANDING IN PROVIDING THE REQUIRED SERVICES

We truly believe we are the most qualified firm and team to work on this project with our detailed knowledge
in different categories of Civil Engineering Municipal Solutions depending on the specific situation, location,
and geology; and the balance between technical expertise and real-world scenarios by understanding and
being able to design and select the most cost efficient and/or long term solutions for the City of Sunny Isles
Beach.

In the Sections below, we present our proven past experience in working with many municipalities, including
some current contracts.

Professionals at The BetaJones Group have extensive experience in Municipal solutions. From site or right-
of-way renovations to allow surface water runoff to flow uninterrupted: to more complex Master Stormwater
Reports, Drainage Planning and Drainage Modeling of entire communities.

Having similar experience in setting up Master Stormwater Reports for Complex Systems, whether 9,000
Acre Subdivisions, to Coastal Communities on a Macro-level, to more localized drainage improvements on
a Micro-level such us our Bay Road Drainage Renovations and Injection Pump and Well Systems in the City
of Miami Beach, The BetaJones Group licensed and professional Engineers understand the real world
complexities of Florida’s Geology (past, present, and future) and how to implement the right drainage solution
for each case. Sometimes there is more than one solution, in that case we provide the client with multiple
solutions and a value-analysis for the client to decide what, when, and how they would like these drainage
solutions to be implemented.

Having worked with multiple Drainage Modeling Systems: PONDS, Excel UF TREEO Center, Cascade,
AdICPR, and more, we know how to select and construct the modeling system, from the NODE, to the
BASIN, and connection PIPE Components as well as entering the different storms and other Factors (Flash
Floods, lengthier Hurricane Storms, Surges, and Ocean Level Rise) to run a vigorous drainage model through
many different situations.

Additionally, understanding of Water and Wastewater Systems, from capacity, to demand, to renovation, to
system improvements, to life-cycle costs are an integral part of city planning. We at The BetaJones Group,
have successfully become one of leading engineering firms in the Miami-Dade County Sanitary Sewer
Evaluation Survey/Certification Program. Locating source leaks, infiltration/inflow identification in past
project SSES Certification projects like, The Miami Dade County Youth Fairgrounds, St. Thomas University,
Grove Isle, Royal Country Residential Community, Mercy Hospital, La Salle High School, Lourdes High
School, and many many more where we have applied onsite evaluation knowledge into decision making
assistance to our client in determining the best applicable option, whether single-point repairs, to full
renovations and replacement, to a full Master Utility Plan for the present and future.

Finally, our past experience in Engineering and Permitting with the City of Sunny Isles Beach and
understanding of all other overlapping Jurisdictional Agencies in past project such as Avila Condominiums
Parking Lot, Drainage, and Sanitary Sewer Renovations, as well as turning the Blue Grass Center into the
Armani Sales Center as the Civil Engineer of Record, which required permitting with Miami Dade County
DERM, coordination with the City of North Miami Beach Utilities, and other local and state agencies, we are
very familiar with the City Infrastructure and look forward to the opportunity to be of service and further assist.
