QA/QC Management Program <br />John Walton, PE and Michael Ehrhart, PSM, our <br />QA/QC managers for this contract, are licensed <br />Engineering and Survey professionals with decades of <br />experienceprovidingQA/QCservicesoncontractsjust <br />likethis.Theyhavebeendesignatedbythecompanyto <br />organize and execute a QA/QC program for each task <br />tobeassignedregardlessofstaffortypeofproject. <br />Making sure that consistent deliverables and formats <br />are provided to the company is our top priority, so that <br />theCitystaffwillspendlesstimereviewingandediting <br />documents provided by us. <br />Our QA/QC program is continually monitored <br />to maximize its success and to identify possible <br />improvements. Each CED employee is a part of this <br />QA/QC program, and it applies to all our disciplines <br />and office locations nationwide.TheCEDQA/QC <br />ProgrammanualisdesignedtohelpProjectManagers <br />implementpracticesforeffectiveprojectmanagement <br />andincorporatesdepartment-specificguidelinesasthey <br />are developed. <br />It is CED policy to establish, commit to, implement, and <br />monitoraQA/QCplanforeveryproject,ensuringquality <br />deliverables for our clients. A detailed QA/QC plan <br />encompassing all the disciplines included for this contract <br />shallbedevelopedtoensuredeliverablesareefficiently <br />and accurately prepared. CED takes full responsibility <br />for the quality of our project submittals, including <br />components prepared by our subconsultants. <br />Mr. Walton and Mr. Ehrhart will provide oversight <br />on every deliverable to make sure that every item is <br />inspected,approvedandverifiedtobeinaccordance <br />withthewishesandbestuseoftheCity.CEDstaff <br />members know and follow the QA/QC process to ensure <br />projectdeliverablesmeetourinternalprojectobjectives <br />and exceed the City’s. <br />Quality Assurance: CED understands the City’s concerns <br />regarding the importance of quality products and agrees <br />that deliverables include complete and well-determined <br />datasupportingtheassociatedreportsanddigitalfiles. <br />We accomplish this by educating, training, and mentoring <br />ourpersonnel.EachmemberoftheCEDproductionstaff <br />receivesaSOPthatdetailsourproceduresandworkflow <br />fromfieldtofinish.QAissupporteddailybytheProject <br />Manager,TaskLeads,and/orQCManagerassignedtothe <br />specificassignmentortaskorder,whowilloverseeand <br />monitortheprocessandresultswithfieldandofficestaff <br />to ensure we are collecting the requested data using the <br />agreed upon methods. <br />Toachievethehighestpossiblequalityandwhilelimiting <br />thenumberofcommentsfromCitystaff,deliverables <br />foreachassignmentwillbecheckedbyaqualified <br />independentreviewer.Thereviewer’scommentswillbe <br />coded in RED, plans <br />will be updated per <br />the comments and <br />noted in GREEN, and <br />the back checker will <br />verify the changes <br />are made with BLUE <br />ink.Thefinalstep <br />of the process is for <br />theSeniorProject <br />Managementstafftorevieweachdatabase,priorto <br />submittal, to ensure the QC process was followed. <br />Final deliverable formatting will be consistent and <br />prepared in accordance with City requirements.
