STERLING VILLAGE SANITARY PIPING REPLACEMENT & PAVING |
Boynton Beach, Florida
Civil Engineering | MEP Engineering | Utilities | Paving | Construction
Administration
Professional Services Completed: 2021
Crain Atlantis provided civil and MEP engineering and construction administration for
rehabilitation of the community's aging sanitary piping system. Rather than conventional pipe
replacement, the project used an internal pipelining solution installed via roof- or ground-level
access, reducing construction time, demolition, and disruption to residents.
During construction, Crain conducted field observations, reviewed system testing, monitored the
contractor's work for conformance with the project requirements, and prepared a final certification
confirming Florida Building Code compliance. Crain's civil engineering services also included
preparation of construction documents and specifications for repaving and sealing the
community's parking areas, demonstrating the firm's ability to address both building infrastructure
and site improvements as part of an occupied-facility assignment.

WELLINGTON LANDINGS MIDDLE SCHOOL | Palm Beach County,
Florida
Facility Renovation | Plumbing & Infrastructure | Interior Improvements |
Construction Administration
Construction Cost: Approximately $1.32 Million
Crain Atlantis provided professional services for Phases II and III of a four-phase renovation
program at Wellington Landings Middle School. The work encompassed renovations to 38
bathrooms as well as improvements involving drinking fountains, hot-water heaters, mop sinks,
water shut-off valves, and associated interior finishes and building systems.
The project required Crain to coordinate improvements within an existing educational facility while
responding to concealed and unforeseen conditions discovered during construction. The team
evaluated field conditions, developed appropriate solutions, and worked to minimize the financial
impact of necessary changes on the Owner's budget. This assignment demonstrates Crain's
ability to manage renovation projects where existing conditions cannot always be fully identified
until construction is underway.
