(C+R), a Miami-Dade Certified SBE, is pleased to <br />submit this Statement of Qualifications to provide LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL <br />services related to the above solicitation. We look forward to serving and <br />collaborating with the City of Sunny Isles Beach as a long-term municipal partner in <br />the development and maintenance of City’s parks, streetscapes, open spaces, <br />and coastal environments creating attractive, resilient, sustainable public spaces. <br /> <br />Qualifications and Relevant Experience <br />Since Curtis + Rogers’ inception, more than 34 years ago, the firm has dedicated its <br />practice to working with municipalities on public projects. C+R has 5 registered <br />landscape architects on staff, 3 certified landscape inspectors, 3 certified arborists, <br />2 SITES accredited professionals and one LEED accredited professional. Having <br />worked with numerous municipalities and successfully implemented a variety of <br />projects throughout South Florida is a testament to the quality of work effort that <br />exemplifies the firm. In the 34 years of Curtis + Rogers existence, the firm has not <br />been subject to any claims or lawsuits. <br /> <br />Curtis + Rogers has collaborated with the City of Miami, City of Coral Gables, City of <br />South Miami, City of Miami Beach, Miami-Dade County, Miami-Dade Schools, FDOT <br />and numerous other local entities, in miscellaneous projects and studies. Curtis + <br />Rogers has experience in the complete development of projects from conceptual <br />designs, through implementation and close-out. Some of our coastal work includes <br />our past collaboration with the City of Sunny Isles Beach on Samson Oceanfront <br />Park along with other municipalities such as the City of Miami which included large- <br />scale park master planning such as in Margaret Pace Park, or Lockhart Park with the <br />City of Fort Lauderdale. Additionally, we’ve worked on streetscapes such Overseas <br />Highway in the Village of Islamorada an FDOT project that started from a PD&E <br />study that transformed into full landscape design and construction documentation <br />or in City of Miami’s Southwest Streetscapes Street Tree Masterplan which was <br />formally adopted by the City Commission. Curtis + Rogers has also worked on an <br />award winning USACE Engineers Back Bay Study a collaboration with the City of <br />Miami DDA and the United States Army Corps of Engineers. We have provided <br />continuing contract services to Miami-Dade Parks, City of Miami, City of South <br />Miami, Florida Department of Transportation and Miami Dade Expressway Authority <br />among others.
