RFQ #26-07-01 | 104 <br /> <br />Matheus Dutra, PE <br />DESIGNER <br />Summary <br />Matheus Dutra is a Designer with experience in general civil engineering design. His latest <br />design experience is in water and wastewater services. He has designed potable watermain <br />and sanitary sewer extensions for private and public projects. In addition, Mr. Dutra has <br />experience in lift station assessments as well as land development projects. He has also <br />assisted in the calculation of quantifying proposed elements for projects. <br />Sunny Isles Water Main Replacement Improvements <br />CLIENT City of North Miami Beach | ROLE Engineer Intern <br />Engineer Intern responsible for the replacement of approximately 10,500 LF of undersized <br />watermains within the City of Sunny Isles’ right-of-way. The goal of this project was to upgrade <br />existing watermains to enhance potable water supply and improve fire protection. The limits of <br />the project are bounded by NE 183rd Street to the north, NE 174th Street to the south, Collins <br />Avenue to the east and North Bay Road to the west. In addition, there was also a portion of the <br />project that replaces an existing aerial water main crossing under an existing bridge at Atlantic <br />Isle. The scope of work included pre-design, design, permitting and construction administration. <br />Sewer Extension – Park Road to 35th Ave & Wilson Street to Arthur Street <br />CLIENT City of Hollywood | ROLE Engineer Intern <br />EAC was retained by the City of Hollywood to design a sewer extension and septic to sewer <br />project for a part of the Hollywood Hills neighborhood. The project involved converting <br />approximately 140 homes from septic to sewer and extended the City’s sewer transmission <br />system to serve other portions of the neighborhood in the future. The design included <br />approximately 9,000 LF of 8-inch, 12-inch and 24-inch collection and transmission sewers and <br />3,500 LF of 6-inch sewer laterals for an approximate construction cost of $4.5M. The goal of the <br />project was to assist the City in its efforts to eliminate the environmental effects of septic tanks. <br />EAC scope of services included pre-design, design, permitting and bid and award services. <br />Highland Village Water Main Replacement Improvements <br />CLIENT City of North Miami Beach | ROLE Engineer Intern <br />Engineer Intern responsible for the replacement of approximately 11,000 LF of undersized <br />watermains within the City of North Miami Beach’s right-of-way. The goal of this project was to <br />upgrade existing watermains to enhance potable water supply and improve fire protection. The <br />limits of the project are bounded by NE 140th Street to the north, NE 135th Terrace to the south, <br />NE 25th Avenue east and Biscayne Boulevard to the west. The scope of work included pre- <br />design, design, permitting and construction administration. <br />South Miami Park Restroom <br />CLIENT City of South Miami, FL | ROLE Engineer Intern <br />The project consists of a new restroom and concession building within the South Miami Park <br />located at 4300 SW 58th Avenue, South Miami, FL. The new building will include a female <br />restroom with one ADA stall and two additional stalls, and a male restroom with one ADA stall, <br />two urinals, and a janitorial closet.
