RFQ #26-07-01 | 23
2.1.3 Commitment to Technology Resources Initiatives
EAC is a technology leader and utilizes the latest software
and hardware to carry out efficient and effective provision
of services. Our ability to combine conventional approaches
to projects, as well as our knowledge of technological
advancements, allows us to continuously maintain proficiency
in our field of engineering services - as well as to uphold our
commitment to providing quality services to our clients. The
use of the latest software and tools in no way replaces our
commitment to traditional practice approaches. However, we
utilize state-of-the-art software on projects to better serve
the needs of our clients with respect to design accuracy and
consistency; production and delivery; as well as to speed and
comply with budgets. Our ability to utilize current state-of-the-
art software analyses, design, and management tools plays
an increasingly important role in our success in satisfying our
clients on a consistent basis.
EAC uses Computer Aided Design (CAD) software that enables
our engineers to create 3-Dimensional models, 2-Dimensional
drawings, and schematics of their designs. Our product
is often the delivery of a set of contract documents (plans
and drawings included) that can be transformed into reality
through implementing good construction processes. We are
intimately familiar with most of the CAD software available in
the industry today and have the in-house capability to utilize
these tools - including Autodesk AutoCAD Suite, Autodesk
Civil 3D, Autodesk Autocad LT, and Bentley Microstation.
Complementing our investment is our approach to utilizing
CAD compatible design and analyses tools to facilitate the
project deliverable development process. Depending on
the service discipline, EAC staff is trained and proficient in
utilizing current state of art software in accomplishing design
objectives of projects. Our engineers place emphasis on their
ability to use current technological advancements as a tool for
attaining clients goals on their projects.
Likewise, our construction engineers and inspectors have to
monitor and manage the construction process efficiently and
with minimum or no impacts to our clients particularly in terms
of budget and schedule. To this end, our construction staff are
also trained in the utilization of specific tools and software that
enable us to bring the required value to our clients projects
and undertaken. Some of these tools include Primavera P6,
Sure Track, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Access.
Our software resources are backed up by having in our offices
state-of-the-art hardware utilizing up to date Windows platform
including high-speed multicore processors computers with
solid state hard drives, multi-function high speed copiers and
multi roll laser plotters. Our network server is a cloud-based
system which has the added advantage of easier and faster
file transfer speeds as well as file processing time.
