The HVAC design incorporated a chilled water ice-storage system. The <br />air-side of the HVAC system utilized a VAV medium pressure duct delivery <br />method. The plumbing system was designed with energy efficient water heater <br />and hot water recirculation loop. The HVAC and plumbing system were design <br />to integrate into the building automation system for monitoring and control. <br />Mechanical engineer for the design of central chiller/thermal storage plant in <br />Riviera Beach, FL. Design included two, 260-ton water-cooled chillers, <br />primary/secondary pumping, complete underground distribution piping to <br />serve cruise terminal building, pumping and piping capacity to accommodate <br />future expansion, approximately 2,400-ton-hours of ice storage to allow full- <br />shift of the demand load. System also includes complete DDC control system <br />networked to the cruise terminal building. <br />Provided mechanical design for the HVAC system for a new Organic Nutrition <br />facility in Boynton Beach, Florida. The HVAC system utilized on site pond/lake as <br />a geothermal solution. Performed a feasibility study to determine on-site lake <br />conditions like lake volume, seasonal temperature gradients and estimated heat <br />exchange rate were determined. The assessment report highlighted the cooling <br />load capacity of on-site lake that was used to design a complete and functional <br />HVAC system that provides an environment for Organic Nutrition that is <br />conducive to clean air work facility for employees and quality air environment <br />for their growing processes. <br />Admirals Cove Country Club - Jupiter, FL <br />Mechanical Engineer involved in the evaluation of club’s facilities in response to <br />Indoor Air Quality issues.
