R E L E VA N T E X P E R I E N C E <br />McCann World Group <br />LO CATION <br />Shanghai, China <br />SI ZE <br />30,000 SF  <br />S COPE <br />Design - Build <br />CO MP L ETI ON <br />2014 <br />COST <br />$1,400,000 <br />EXPERT I SE <br />Workplace, Interior <br />Eric Dempsey led the design of the successful design-build proposal for <br />McCann Worldgroup's new Shanghai office, resulting in a long-term client <br />relationship and multiple workplace expansions. <br />Challenges: McCann Worldgroup sought a dynamic workplace that reflected <br />its creative culture while meeting a highly constrained fit-out budget. The <br />project required coordinating multiple floors within an occupied commercial <br />tower, complying with landlord standards, and delivering a distinctive design <br />using cost-effective local materials without compromising quality or brand <br />identity. <br />Our Approach: Working with the local design-build team at ADM Design <br />Build, Eric Dempsey led the architectural and interior design following a <br />competitive selection process managed by Cushman & Wakefield. The initial <br />commission included the 11th and 12th floors of Huaihai Plaza, creating <br />flexible workspaces, collaborative environments, and a strong brand presence <br />tailored to McCann's creative culture. The success of the initial project led to <br />additional commissions for the 10th, 15th, 20th, 22nd, and 25th floors as <br />McCann and other IPG companies expanded within the building. <br />Benefits: The project established a long-term relationship between ADM <br />Design Build and one of the world's largest marketing and communications <br />organizations.
