Site planning, flood elevations, and long-term durability were central to
the project's success.
Our Approach: Working with senior leadership at JBHM Architects, Eric
Dempsey led portions of the schematic and design development phases,
including site planning, flood-elevation studies, and interior space planning.
Using Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Revit, the design team
developed a coordinated three-dimensional model that integrated building
systems, optimized circulation, and supported the development of a flood-
resistant civic facility.
Benefits: The completed design provides Jackson County with a durable,
efficient government facility designed for long-term resilience and reliable
public service. The project reflects Eric Dempsey's early experience delivering
complex civic architecture through multidisciplinary coordination, resilient
planning, and advanced digital design technologies.
Credit: Jackson County, Mississippi • JBHM Architects
DEMPSEY DESIGN RELEVANT EXPERIENCE · RFQ # 26-07-01 PAGE 5 3 OF 113←→↑QUALIFICATIONS
