No change orders Derelict Boats Illegal Sanitary Discharge Scope of Services Edgewater Group’s services for the project have included marina market analysis, master planning, economic analysis demonstrating projected project cash flow, civil engineering, marine and coastal engineering, architectural studies for marina and support buildings, and automated drystack and marina design. Edgewater is currently in the process of securing permits from the County, FDEP, and USACE. In addition, Edgewater assisted the City in securing FEMA Grant Funding totaling approximately $15 million, as well as an EDA Grant in the amount of $3 million. The City of Sanford, with a population of roughly 67,000, is located along the shores of Lake Monroe in Central Florida. The scenic Sanford RiverWalk meanders along both sides of the marina, providing a picturesque connection to Historic Downtown Sanford, where shops and award-winning restaurants are located just a few blocks away. The existing marina currently has significantly deficient infrastructure. Edgewater has partnered with a team of coordinators and other consultants, and has provided a structural assessment, developed a new master plan, completed engineering and marina design, prepared a utilities plan, and is currently assisting with the proposal of new waterfront tenants. About the Project FEMA Team Working closely with the City’s FEMA consultant, Edgewater developed a comprehensive needs assessment for review by a 10-person FEMA team. As a result of this exhaustive effort, Edgewater helped identify a potential opportunity for the project to receive up to $17 million in FEMA funding.
