GEI Consultants | City of Sunny Isles Beach | RFQ 26-07-01 31 CURRENT AND ESTIMATED PROJECT WORKLOAD GEI maintains a robust capacity to manage current and future project workloads through strategic resource planning, organizational depth, and flexible staffing. Our approach to workload management includes the following key components. Current Workload Management GEI is committed to providing the City of Sunny Isles Beach with a dedicated and responsive project team led by Project Manager Nick Bragaia and Principal in Charge Eric Rehwoldt, who will serve as the City’s primary points of contact and will oversee all task assignments. Our South Florida-based professionals have the capacity and availability to support the City’s environmental, coastal, and marine engineering needs while maintaining consistent communication and prompt response times. Resource Allocation and Flexibility GEI’s core Sunny Isles Beach team includes experienced coastal engineers, environmental scientists, marine specialists, and permitting professionals who are familiar with Florida’s coastal environment and regulatory requirements. This local team will lead day-to-day project delivery, providing continuity and direct access to key decision-makers throughout each assignment. Organizational Structure and Support In addition to our dedicated local staff, the City will have access to GEI’s nationwide network of coastal, marine, environmental, geotechnical, and infrastructure specialists. This depth allows us to quickly augment the project team with additional expertise whenever specialized technical support, accelerated schedules, or expanded resources are required. Staff Availability and Commitment Nick Bragaia and the assigned GEI team are committed to prioritizing task orders issued under this contract. By maintaining a dedicated project team and drawing upon additional subject matter experts as needed, GEI can provide reliable support, timely execution, and continuity across multiple concurrent assignments. Adaptive Resource Management As project demands evolve, GEI can seamlessly supplement the core project team with experienced engineers, scientists, surveyors, permitting specialists, and marine professionals from across our organization. This flexibility allows us to scale resources to meet changing project needs while maintaining consistent project leadership and client service. Five-Year Capacity Planning GEI anticipates maintaining the personnel and technical resources necessary to support Sunny Isles Beach throughout the contract term. Our approach combines a dedicated local project team with the strength of a national practice, providing the City with both responsive day-to-day support and access to specialized expertise whenever needed.
