Design professionals do not have the same level of control over <br />project scheduling and completion as contractors; therefore, contractor-style liquidated damages are not appropriate. GEI will <br />work proactively with the Client to mitigate any potential delays related to design or planning deliverables and proposes the <br />following markups and alternative language in place of the provision as currently written:
