| 25RFQ #26-07-01 <br />City of Homestead <br />Professional Continuing Contract (CCNA) <br />Homestead, FL <br />Overview of Services: <br />Longitude Surveyors was awarded a continuing contract to provide <br />comprehensive professional surveying and mapping services for <br />the City of Homestead in support of its Public Works Department, <br />Capital Improvement Program (CIP), and other municipal <br />departments. <br /> <br />The scope of services include metes and bounds, boundary and <br />topographic surveys, GPS data collection, elevation certificates, <br />right-of-way surveys, construction layout, as-built surveys, <br />legal descriptions, utility mapping, and other professional <br />surveying services supporting the City’s infrastructure and capital <br />improvement projects. The continuing contract also accommodated <br />miscellaneous surveying assignments on an as-needed basis. <br />Below is the project performed under this contract year-to-date: <br />Southeast 6th Avenue Drainage Improvements Project <br />Longitude Surveyors performed a topographic survey and Quality <br />Level “B” (QLB) Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) designation <br />to support the project design. We established horizontal and <br />vertical control referenced to the Florida State Plane Coordinate <br />System (NAD83/2011) and NGVD29, located rights-of-way, <br />property boundaries, utilities, drainage and sanitary structures, <br />significant aboveground features, and project-required trees, <br />and collected elevations on a 25-foot grid to develop a Digital <br />Terrain Model (DTM).
