| 41RFQ #26-07-01
collected information into final mapping products. The project included establishing horizontal control and utilizing
electromagnetic locating equipment and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to identify and map existing underground
utilities within the project limits. Joseph assisted with incorporating designated utility information into survey documents
and Civil 3D CAD deliverables used to support utility conflict analysis and project design under the guidance of senior
project staff.
North District Wastewater Treatment Plant - Electrical Distribution Building No. 2, Miami-Dade Water and Sewer,
Miami, FL
Joseph Edwards, PE supported the survey services performed at the North District Wastewater Treatment Plant by
assisting with data processing, CAD drafting, and the preparation of survey deliverables. His responsibilities included
organizing field-collected information for the four boring hole locations, drafting coordinates and elevations in CAD,
and assisting with the preparation of exhibits and sketches supporting the legal description for the Florida Power and
Light (FPL) easement. The project included locating and surveying four boring holes, determining precise Northing,
Easting, and elevation data, and documenting the information for client use and future project planning. Joseph assisted
with accurately plotting boring hole locations and preparing survey drawings that clearly depicted site conditions and
easement-related information under the guidance of senior project staff.
City of Ft. Lauderdale Fire Station No. 88 , Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Joseph Edwards, PE supported the topographic and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) survey services for Fire
Station 88 in the City of Fort Lauderdale by assisting with data processing, CAD drafting, and the preparation of survey
deliverables. His responsibilities included organizing field-collected information, drafting existing site conditions,
elevations, right-of-way features, and utilities, and incorporating control and benchmark information into survey files.
The project included a comprehensive topographic survey of the full right-of-way and utility designation services to
identify underground utilities within the project limits. Joseph also assisted with integrating utility designation data
into mapping deliverables and preparing survey drawings used to support project planning, design, and construction
activities. Vertical control was established through a bench run tied to two nearby National Geodetic Survey (NGS)
benchmarks to provide accurate elevation references throughout the project.
Surveying and Mapping Services for the multiple segments of roadways adjacent to several schools within
Coconut Creek, FL
Joseph Edwards, PE supported the planimetric survey by assisting with data processing, CAD drafting, and the
preparation of survey deliverables. His responsibilities included drafting rights-of-way, lot lines, property boundaries, and
existing site features based on field data and record information, as well as organizing project files and survey data for
multiple roadway segments. The project included establishing horizontal control, depicting rights-of-way based on plats,
deeds, and field evidence, and documenting significant aboveground improvements such as pavement, curbs, sidewalks,
signs, utility structures, and other site features. Joseph assisted in preparing clear and accurate planimetric mapping for
roadway segments adjacent to multiple schools, supporting project planning and design efforts under the guidance of
senior project staff.
Joseph Daniel Edwards, PE, SIT, CST
Survey Technician / UAS Drone Pilot
