<br />administration. Design improvements to the parks
<br />include lighting infrastructure for security and
<br />holiday lights, a new playground with play equipment
<br />for various ages, fitness equipment, and drinking
<br />fountains. With these Parks on separate parcels of land,
<br />specific design attention was critical in tying the Parks
<br />spaces together with new walkways, a unifying buffer
<br />wall, and revamping Park signage and wayfinding.
<br />City of Miami E.G. Sewell Park - Miller Legg is
<br />providing the City program development, pre-
<br />design, master planning design including
<br />public involvement workshops, construction
<br />documents and construction administration for
<br />Sewell Park, a 10.33-acre park on the Miami River.
<br />The program is an open passive park with elements
<br />including passive walkways through park and preserve
<br />areas, pavilions, an eco-trail, baywalk, hardscape, floating
<br />docks, kayak launch, seawall/living shoreline, wayfinding
<br />and historical information signage. The scope of
<br />services includes landscape architecture, irrigation,
<br />environmental, civil engineering, topographical
<br />surveying, SUE, certified arborist,
<br />permitting, bidding assistance and limited
<br />construction administration.
<br />City of Homestead Biscayne Everglades Trail Western
<br />Expansion Feasibility Study - Miller Legg conducted a
<br />feasibility study to assist the City in determining the
<br />preferred 3-mile route and trail design or the alignment
<br />of the Western Extension of the existing Biscayne
<br />Everglades Greenway Trail (BEGT). Miller Legg’s scope
<br />included an existing conditions inventory, a criteria matrix
<br />for evaluation of potential trail alignments, various
<br />preliminary alignment alternatives with Opinions of
<br />Probable Cost, preferred alignment with location,
<br />typical design, proposed enhancements, right of way/
<br />property issues associated with implementation, potential
<br />property acquisitions, followed by the Feasibility
<br />Report. The Study was funded by an FDOT SUN Trail
<br />Grant.

<br />Mr. Bradley is a Landscape Architect supporting the firm’s
<br />projects including those in the public sector such as
<br />municipal parks and recreation master plans, park landscape,
<br />hardscape and irrigation design, educational facilities as well
<br />as streetscape for the Florida Department of

<br />Services Contract - Miller Legg is collaborating with the
<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach to provide a variety of landscape

<br />– 2027). Tasks provided include DRC Assignments, Plans
<br />Review, Permit Reviews, Inspections for Final Closeouts,
<br />Arborist and Tree Inspections, Code Compliance for Tree
<br />Dispositions, Rose Garden Design for Meditation Garden
<br />at Town Center Park, Revised Technical Specifications for
<br />Environmental and Landscape Architecture, Review and
<br />Renew entire Landscape Architecture Code – existing and
<br />future, and Review and Update contract for Landscape
<br />Maintenance.
<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Landscape Ordinance Update
<br />- Under our Landscape Architecture Continuing Services
<br />Contract with the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Miller Legg
<br />is reviewing and updating the City’s Landscape Ordinance,
<br />specifically, Article X, creation of residential landscape
<br />ordinances. Tasks include gathering and review ordinance
<br />against relevant municipalities and Miami-Dade County
<br />codes and standards, “Florida Grades and Standards for
<br />Nursery Plants 2022, (Grades and Standards only apply to
<br />nursery plants) ANSI A-300, University of Florida Institute
<br />of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS) and other relevant
<br />standards for conformity to industry standards.
<br />City of Coral Gables Cooper and Moore Parks - Under
<br />our continuing services contract with the City of Coral
<br />Gables, Miller Legg is providing landscape architecture
<br />and civil engineering services for the improvements to
<br />the Cooper and Moore parks in Miami. Our scope
<br />includes schematic park design and tree assessment,
