City Of Opa-locka Architectural and Engineering CSC, Opa-Locka, FL: CEI. KEITH, under its continuing services contract with the City of Opa-Locka, is assisting the City with architectural and engineering projects on an as-needed basis. KEITH assists the Client with survey, planning, civil engineering, transportation engineering, landscape architecture, utility location, permitting and bidding assistance, and construction administration services. Projects under this agreement include the NW 132nd Street Drainage project, a multi-phased KEITH Access project. The single-family residential, multi-family residential, educational, commercial, and industrial community has experienced repetitive nuisance flooding. The two phases include 2000-LF and 1500-LF of roadway respectively. The KEITH Team assists the Client with design and construction administration services to support the removal and replacement of the existing drainage network within the project boundaries.
City of Coconut Creek, CEI Services for SR 7 Median Enhancement, LAP Project,
Coconut Creek, FL: CEI. Under our continuing services contract for the City of Coconut Creek and under an FDOT LAP awarded grant, the KEITH Team was retained to provide Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) service for a median restoration project from south of the Sawgrass Expressway to Cullum Road, approximately one mile in length. The project involves adding irrigation to water new trees, shrubs and sod, as well as the addition of pavers in some areas. The construction contract duration is scheduled for six (6) months. KEITH is a prequalified CEI provider by FDOT.
City of Pompano Beach, SR A1A Streetscape Improvements, Pompano Beach,
FL: CEI. Under our continuing services contract for GO Bond Improvements, KEITH assisted in this project that included streetscape improvements, such as landscaped medians, widened sidewalks where R/W was available, and street lighting along SR A1A, from Sunset Lane to the Hillsboro Inlet. Services KEITH provided included survey, SUE, civil and transportation engineering, landscape architecture, and construction program management. The KEITH Team assisted in topographic survey, digital terrain modeling, horizontal designation and location services, utility mapping, permitting, bid assistance, landscape concepts through schematic design, complete roadway analysis, pavement design package, temporary traffic control plan analysis, photometric/lighting design analysis, field reviews of roadway and drainage, and construction observation and certification. During project coordination, KEITH identified an overlap between FDOT’s resurfacing project and the City’s planned improvements and successfully coordinated the transfer of FDOT funds to the City, increasing the construction budget for this priority community project.
