Each room received new furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). <br />The renovation included updated lighting and controls, new receptacles, fire alarm devices, <br />and life safety upgrades. Additional scope included MEP connections, a new fume hood tied <br />to existing exhaust systems, HVAC modifications, pressure valves, a thimble for corrosive <br />cabinets, a sink with eyewash, and coordination with existing sprinkler systems. Airflow <br />balancing, code compliance, and a Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost estimate were <br />also included. <br />Renovate Room 220 & 253 into Flight Simulation Lab Bldg. #26H - Convert Robotics <br />Resource Room 220 & 253 into Simulation Lab Power/Data <br />Cost: $7,260 Completion Date: Sept. 2023 <br />SGM provided MEP-FP design documents to renovate the existing Robotics Resource Room <br />into a Flight Simulation Lab. We provided power and data infrastructure. <br />Lights Installation on Oxley Fields <br />Cost: $5,366.46 Completion Date: Sept. 2023 <br />SGM provided electrical engineering services to provide lighting on the two practice fields <br />on the south side. We provided the design for the lighting system and coordinated with the <br />airport authority due to the proximity to the airport.
