The signature assignment was the Banyan Pump Station Rehabilitation: a duplex wet-well station damaged by vehicle impact and placed under a Miami-Dade DERM moratorium. TEC performed field survey and hydraulic modeling, prepared a complete permit set, secured DERM approval for flood-resilient retrofits — including a watertight, traffic-rated access hatch — and then carried the project through procurement assistance and construction QA/QC. TEC also delivered full CEI on the NE 126th Street Parking Improvements (ten new on-street stalls) with daily photo reports, pay-requisition review, submittal tracking, meetings, and walkthroughs — completed on time and on budget. Program- management services included weekly CIP tracker updates, site inspections, QA/QC review of scopes, plans, permits, and pay applications, and meeting minutes for progress, pre-bid, and construction meetings. TEC additionally managed a citywide streetlight assessment-and-repair program (logging and driving 100+ FPL/County repair tickets through a GIS tracker) and led an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) assessment producing compliance matrices and 10-year life- cycle cost models. Scope of TEC Services •Owner's-representative oversight of 20+ concurrent CIP projects — design management, permitting, procurement support, and construction QA/QC •Banyan Pump Station: survey, hydraulic modeling, complete permit set, DERM moratorium resolution, flood-resilient retrofit design, and construction-phase QA •Full CEI on roadway/parking construction: daily photo reports, pay-requisition review, submittal tracking, and closeout •Weekly CIP tracker, QA/QC review of scopes, plans, permits, and pay applications; progress/pre-bid/construction meeting minutes •Citywide streetlight assessment and repair management with GIS-based FPL/County ticket tracking •AMI assessment: compliance matrices and 10-year life-cycle cost models for phased implementation Relevance to the City of Sunny Isles Beach (Civil No. 3 / CEI No. 8) •Designated-representative services.
