<br />Project Overview
<br />The Seminole Tribe of Florida retained TEC as its on-call engineering, project management, and construction-inspection lead
<br />for tribal-wide transportation improvements. Task orders spanned roundabout design, roadway resurfacing, drainage
<br />upgrades, driveway rehabilitation, street lighting, traffic signs, and emergency embankment repairs — all delivered under
<br />FDOT standards and Tribal regulations, with permit approvals coordinated across FDOT, County, and Tribal Environmental
<br />offices.
<br />Two outcomes define the engagement. When a storm washed out a roadway embankment, TEC fast-tracked a design–bid–
<br />build repair completed in five weeks instead of the typical eight to twelve — saving approximately $50,000 by optimizing
<br />rip-rap and geofabric pinning details. And on the roundabout program, TEC's resized geometry improved traffic flow,
<br />eliminated excess MOT costs, and produced $58,000 in savings while increasing contractor bid participation from 50% to
<br />75%.
